3. Is the ongoing setup secure?
An AI builder gives you a website. It doesn’t renew your SSL certificate, update your plugins, watch for malware injections, or notice that your domain is about to expire. Websites don’t get attacked because they were built by AI — they get attacked because they were left unmaintained, on any platform.
Where the Real Risk Actually Lives
Here’s what actually causes most small business websites to get compromised:
- Outdated plugins or themes left un-updated for months
- Weak or reused admin passwords
- No backup, so one bad update or one attack means starting from zero
- Cheap, unmonitored hosting with no one watching for suspicious activity
